Full Description: Angel Villas
The villas were designed by a French architect, Laurence Dugue who spent many months on Bali to be able to capture the diversity of the ancient building tradition, & in his co-operation with a Balinese architect, the result is a delightful mix of two very different cultures.
Villa III has three bedrooms, Villa II has two bedrooms and Villa I is a one bedroom villa. The three villas were designed in modern style while respecting many of the rules and techniques of traditional local building traditions. Bamboo and local stones are used as a theme throughout the villas, with lovely marble flooring throughout.
You enter the villas by passing through the gate over the lotus pond and past the Aling - Aling, a wall which in Balinese tradition is thought to keep out bad spirits which are believed to only travel in straight lines. A lush tropical garden with a private swimming pool welcomes you in. The garden is a key element in which the Balinese people believe develops a sense of peace and happiness.
You walk into a large open-plan living room whose design is based on Balinese tradition to promote a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite. Some of the bathrooms also have an outside shower surrounded by plants.
Villas I and III which are adjacent to one another can be rented together when four bedrooms are needed.
All three villas have been fitted out with the latest Electrolux cook-tops, coffee makers, kettles & microwave ovens and all the dinnerware, glasses & cutlery you will need. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, electronic safes & 26 inch flat screen TVs. The living rooms also have a flat screen TV, iPod docking stations & CD players. All three villas have Wi-Fi & Villas II & III have powder rooms to service the living & dining areas.
