Conveniently situated among the islands most appreciated outings and activities, Villa Awana is an excellent base for a relaxing holiday or Bali exploration. Villa Awana is located in the Canggu region of Southern Bali , and is built above spectacular and vibrant rice terraces in the peaceful village of Babakan . The setting is beautiful and serene, only 500 m from the world-famous Canggu surf beach and just 15 minutes from the Seminyak/Oberoi area, where several of the island s popular swimming beaches, restaurants and bars are located. The breathtaking Nirwana golf course (designed by Greg Norman), next to Tanah Lot temple, is less then 15 mins away. Bali ‘s cultural centre, Ubud, is a pleasant 45 minute drive from Villa Awana and Denpasar airport is a mere 35 minute drive.

Private and secure, the villa overlooks continual rice terraces with views of the Batu Karu mountain range. Elevated 20 feet above the rice terraces, is the Villa enjoys a subtle cross breeze and magical sunsets. The verdant surroundings and nearby villages offer wonderful morning or sunset strolls.

While Villa Awana is modern in design, many of the materials used in its construction are traditional. In this way, the house unifies its modern aspects with the natural surroundings. This use of earthy materials such as rich teak and stone marry the building with the landscape, lush flora and transcendent views.

The villa boasts a gracious open-air living space with two dining areas, breakfast area, black-bottom infinity pool, separate children’s paddling pool, large entertainment room and five bedrooms (three en-suite) and two additional full bathrooms. The terrace and pool area provide an additional lounge area and outdoor bale (covered seating). There is also a grass garden near the villa’s entrance and a whirlpool at the front, which appears to float over the rice terraces. The building is single-story and open-air, inspiring a natural ambiance while accentuating the breathtaking view. With an extensive staff providing a level of service unrivaled outside of a luxury hotel, restaurant standard food, and a full time Awanager, all of your needs.

Villa Awana has an array of recreational facilities:

Beauty & Spa
Bali is well known for its relaxing massages on the beach and world-class spas. While the Awanager will be happy to facilitate bookings at the well-known spas, many treatments are available in the privacy of the Villa at a fraction of the price. Massage, body scrubs, body wraps, facials, pedicures, manicures, and hair braiding are just some of the treatments which can be enjoyed in-house. These may be arranged on relatively short notice during your stay.

Kids’ Facilities
Villa Awana caters to children of all ages. For babies, a sleeping cot is available, as well as two highchairs and pool toys.

The Entertainment room has a number of films, music and books for your child’s entertainment. A number of children’s television programs can also be accessed on the state-of-the-art satellite projection TV.

The Chef and staff will be delighted to cook suitable meals for your little ones.

Babysitting Service
A professional babysitting service is available. The owners and guests have personally employed various nannies, and we are therefore able to recommend certain individuals. You can hire babysitters for a few hours, or have them reside in the Villa’s staff quarters for the whole of your stay. Please mention any special requests in your booking enquiry and we will provide all information for you and make the necessary arrangements on your behalf.
