Villa Kampung I

Garden Compound : Villa Kampung I was designed to capture the ambience of a Balinese family compound with separate dwellings that border a large pool with landscaped gardens. Located down a back lane in the heart of Seminyak, the villa offers a calm retreat where up to 12 adult guests can completely relax in comfort. Decorated with an eclectic collection of well chosen furnishings and artifacts, Villa Kampung I showcases some distinct pieces of quality craftsmanship that have been carefully sourced from around the Indonesian archipelago.

Outdoors : 
Enter the villa through a prominent timber gate that leads directly to a manicured garden with stone pathways. The large swimming pool is the centerpiece of the compound, complete with a sundeck, a pair of frangipani trees and several sun-loungers. A grass thatched gazebo, adjacent to the pool, is a shady retreat for afternoon naps & holiday reading.

Living Areas : 
There are a plethora of sitting areas spread around Villa Kampung I where guests find private time alone when needed. There is also a large communal lounge furnished with large sofas & chairs, & appropriately decorated with bright cushions and woven textiles. Great for social gatherings after dark! Upstairs is a cozy mezzanine with a home entertainment system and a bookcase full of novels, magazines and other reading.

Dining : 
The dining pavilion is adjacent to the large lounge area, & has a bar (which also acts as a servery) and a Chef’s kitchen! Easy to cater for large groups & is ideally suited for family get-to-gethers. The centre piece is a magnificent dining table that was crafted from a single piece of timber to seat 12 guests in a formal seating arrangement. Additional tables can be brought together for big dinners!

Bedroom and Bathrooms : 
There are six double bedrooms in three separate dwellings around the compound that were orientated to instill a sense of privacy for all guests. Different room configurations with classically inspired furnishings, ornate carved doors and eye-catching pieces of artwork display flair and originality. All bedrooms feature individually styled canopied double beds with crisp cotton linens, personalized sitting areas and en-suite bathrooms with either a sunken tub, shower recess or both facilities for leisurely bathing rituals. Additionally there a number of relaxation areas with traditional day-beds and sofas that can be utilized for extra guests. A terraced area directly in front of the connecting loft bedrooms has a regulation size pool table which gets plenty of use.
